Lincoln/Mercury:
In 1999, at Y&R's Orange County, CA office, I was the Senior Art Director for the Lincoln - Mercury 2000model-year online presence. The creative team consisted an Information Designer, a Senior Writer, and one
staff plus three freelance Graphic Designers. We worked with Landor Asscociates, the branding arm of
Young & Rubicam, as well as with the Young & Rubicam San Francisco office who were doing the print
and television work.
I was also the sole designer for the actual Lincoln and Mercury vehicle websites, and for the promotional
microsites for Mercury Cycling and the Mercury LPGA. In other efforts, such as the webcasts, the Flash-
based promotions and the media-rich banner campaign, I oversaw outside teams of designers and HTML
programmers. I was the sole creative presenter to the client, working with brand managers both agency-
and client- side, as well as the Director of Marketing at Lincoln-Mercury.
