iVillage:
From early 1996 through late 1997, I worked at iVillage in New York City. I started as a designer andproduction person, was promoted to Art Director for the AboutWork, Armchair Millionaire and Student
Center sites, and then was promoted to Creative Director.
As Art Director, I was responsible for designing and implementing online branding, web navigation
and interfaces and promotional banners, as well as creating a custom interface for their strong
AOL presence. When I became Creative Director, I led a creative team of designers, writers and HTML
programmers, as well as coordinated between outside design agencies and the iVillage technical
staff, as we designed and implemented the conglomeration of all iVillage sites into one site, the
Women's Network.
